TAVtech is a Tel Aviv-based fellowship program that equips the next generation of entrepreneurs with tangible, high-demand, technical skills in data science and cybersecurity. Fellows join a community of skilled entrepreneurs and make lifelong connections to other Fellows and Israel’s technology ecosystem.
The TAVTech Fellowship is managed and operated by the NYU Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life, with operational support from NYU Tel Aviv, Onward Israel, and Israel Experience. TAVtech is an independent 501(c)(3) organization.
80 hours of intensive technical training. Instructors are affiliated with institutions such as Unit 8200 (Israel Defense Forces), Google Israel, Redis Labs, the Technion University, and Hebrew University.
Fellows build lifelong connections with young leaders from across the globe. Networking is facilitated by structured leadership development opportunities, such as TAVtech's weekend retreat.
Fellows live in a top global start-up economy and meet some of Israel's leading start-up founders, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and technology executives.
Entrepreneur office hours during the program provide Fellows an effective setting to meet the leaders defining Tel Aviv's dynamic start-up and social venture ecosystem.
Technical training culminates in a 3-day hackathon with mentorship from leading experts from Israel's tech ecosystem.
Upon successful completion, Fellows join TAVtech's alumni network of over 300 alumni throughout the world.

Program Cost: Fellows pay a $550 non-refundable fee. The Fellowship includes housing, instruction, and most programmed activities including touring trips around Israel and weekend retreats.
Program Structure: One cohort for students of diverse academic backgrounds to participate in an intensive introductory programming curriculum. Two cohorts that offer specialized training for students from computer science academic backgrounds.
Classes: Taught by successful entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and top academic practitioners: Introduction to Coding for Non-Coders Bootcamp, Cybersecurity Intensive, and Data Science and Big Data Intensive.
Additional Components: The TAVtech Speaker Series features Israel's top venture capitalists, start-up entreprenuers, and corporate leaders. The TAVtech Weekend Retreats take Fellows to a unique set of destinations in Israel for incredible sightseeing, cultural immersion, and community building. The TAVtech Hackathon brings Fellows from all classes and skill levels together in building cutting-edge solutions to global problems.

Application process & Eligibility. TAVtech recruits applicants who have an understanding of global issues, a track record of community leadership, and a genuine interest in solving global challenges. The TAVtech Fellowship is currently open to students pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree.
Fellows learn high-demand technical skills, meet influential members of Tel Aviv's tech ecosystem, and apply their entrepreneurship skills at TAVhacks.
With the alumni network, Fellows have opportunities to stay involved with TAVtech. In the past, alumni have used their skills to help under-privileged communities through technical instruction. Moreover, our alumni have organized events around the world, including in the US, UAE, China, and India.
